Your day begins with a scenic water taxi ride to Bark Bay, where you&#39;ll set off on a picturesque coastal walk to Awaroa. Wander through lush native forest, cross impressive boardwalks, relax on golden-sand beaches, and enjoy stunning views of Tonga Island and the surrounding coastline.

Along the way, keep an eye out for native wildlife, including the playful kākā, and take time to explore highlights such as Bark Bay Estuary, Tonga Quarry, Onetahuti Beach, and the Awaroa Wetlands. Make your own way to the tour operator&#39;s base in Mārahau, the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Check in by 8:15 am before boarding your water taxi to Bark Bay. Optional return bus transfers from Nelson and Motueka are available for an additional cost (seasonal and subject to availability). Free parking is available in Mārahau for those arriving by car.
