We recommend a medium level of fitness for this tour being a nature-based walking tour.

We are able to pick up at most major hotels located in the Melbourne city centre. If you can let us know where you will be staying in Melbourne, we will be able to advise you of the nearest pickup location and pickup time.

Our guides are happy to drop our guests off at reasonable destinations in the inner city area. Normal drop off points include hotels, hostels, and transport hubs. If you live or are staying some way from the city centre, your guide will drop you off at a railway station or tram line on the route to your destination. Our tours return to the city well before public transport stops operating.

Wilsons Promontory or &#39;The Prom&#39;, is one of Victoria&#39;s most loved and cherished natural attractions. A pristine area of more than 50,000 hectares, there&#39;s plenty to explore here. With panoramic views, pristine white beaches, coastal forest, cool climate rainforests and well preserved walking tracks, this is a truly magical spot to spend a day.

This full-day guided tour will show you all the highlights and introduce you to a natural haven that will intrigue and inspire you.

Depart Melbourne between 7.00 am and 8.00 am&nbsp;and journey southwards through the Gippsland region to the&nbsp;southernmost part of the Australian mainland&nbsp;&ndash; Wilson&rsquo;s Promontory.&nbsp;Here, you&#39;ll spend 3-4 hours exploring the area with bushwalks, bird watching and animal spotting opportunities galore! Wilson&#39;s Prom is home to many marsupials, such as wombats and kangaroos, native birds and other native animals such as emus, which you&#39;ll be able to see up close.

The best way to explore the Prom is on foot as it gives you the chance to take in the rugged natural surroundings. Explore tracks such as Lilly Pilly Gully&nbsp;and wander along the sand at Squeaky Beach. Take in&nbsp;amazing panoramic views on the Verekers Outlook track or more rugged Mount Bishop path&nbsp;(easy to medium grade walks).&nbsp;You&#39;ll also visit Tidal River&nbsp;where you can learn more about this extraordinary national park.&nbsp;
