No, the return ferry trip from Townsville to Magnetic Island is not included, and you&#39;ll need to book this separately. Guests should take the 2:15 PM Sealink Ferry from Townsville.

SeaLink and Magnetic Island Ferry tickets are available from their website. Alternatively, you can purchase prior to boarding at either Sealink or Magnetic Island Ferry terminals &amp; on board should the booking office be closed. Please allow extra time to purchase the tickets during busy periods.

Most of the tour is conducted from within the bus, but you get out occasionally. You will never walk more than a few hundred meters on reasonably flat ground. The bus can also accommodate 1 or 2 wheelchairs (prior notification required).

The tour finishes at Horseshoe Bay, where you can choose to remain to have some dinner and find your own way back to the ferry terminal. Or, you return with the bus to Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal.

Beginning with complimentary transport from Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal in the morning, your friendly guide will offer expert insights into the history, flora, fauna,&nbsp;koalas, wallabies and marine wildlife you may spot along your way.&nbsp;

Your first stops are Cockle Bay and Picnic Bay. Make sure to stop to take a picture at the stunning Rocky Bay Beach lookout on your way.&nbsp;Stroll along the Picnic Bay jetty +&nbsp;check in at the museum and craft shop to uncover more fascinating stories of the early settlers and early inhabitants.

Retracing your steps up to Nelly Bay will give you breathtaking views of the Coral Sea atop Arcadia Hill.&nbsp;

Next you&#39;ll get the chance to get up close and personal with&nbsp;Allied Rock Wallabies who live amongst the incredible rock formations at Geoffrey Bay.

Fun Fact:&nbsp;These wallabies are found only in Northern Queensland between Townsville and the Burdekin River.

Descend into an old farming precinct before enjoying an hour of free time at Horseshoe Bay, where you can indulge in a variety of delicious food and take a refreshing swim in the safe swimming enclosure.

&nbsp;

From June to September, you can visit the Butterfly Forest for a short bushwalk, an experience not to be missed.

&nbsp;

After lunch, enjoy a short stop at the Aquasearch Aquarium to see some of the local marine life, before returning&nbsp;to the Ferry, or choosing to stay and explore more of the island!
