Parking is available at the nearby Pier Shopping Complex/Shangri-la hotel, located opposite the Reef Fleet Terminal. Hourly cost is from AUD $1.20 for indoor and outdoor parking. All day parking is also available near Trinity Wharf at approximately $3 per day.

The vessel is pram-friendly. However, walks on the island can be rocky and include steps so are not advised when walking.&nbsp;

After approximately 45 minutes of travel, you&#39;ll arrive at Fitzroy Island where you&#39;ll have up to 6 hours to explore its&nbsp;beautiful offerings. While here, you&#39;ll have the option to take&nbsp;part in a range of activities, including snorkelling, glass-bottom boat tours, kayaking, island adventures and more for an additional cost.&nbsp;Unlike smaller coral cays or sandy islands on the Great Barrier Reef, Fitzroy was once part of mainland Australia, with Fitzroy National Park&nbsp;largely untouched and protected. Enjoy making the most of&nbsp;walking tracks through the rainforest, heathland and open forest to&nbsp;the Summit and Nudey Beach (one of the best beaches in Australia).&nbsp;

There is a lot to do and see on Fitzroy. Snorkelling, glass bottom boat tours, beaches and hikes! 
The staff were friendly and helpful and I did the glass bottom boat tour which was very informative. Then stopped at the bar for lunch and a drink. And finished the trip by exploring the walking trails it’s a bit of a mission to the top but well worth it such a beautiful place!
