Oahu is a sightseeing paradise, full of spectacular lookout points, incredible white sandy beaches, colourful culture, outstanding surf and unique wildlife. Join your local guide for this&nbsp;Oahu Circle Island Tour, visiting some of the island&#39;s popular spots as well as hidden gems.&nbsp;

Morning

The shuttle will pick you up from selected locations in Waikiki with a local guide to help you prepare for a day of exploring the island of Oahu.

&nbsp;

The first lookout you&#39;ll visit is&nbsp;an elevated view perched on the eastern side of Waikiki&#39;s famous Diamond Head Volcano.&nbsp;This lookout grants an excellent opportunity for pictures of the southeastern coastline of Oahu, with notable sights as far as Hanauma Bay and Maui on a clear day. The location is formally known as Amelia Earhart Lookout, known for where bystanders gathered to watch Earhart make her first solo aviation journey from Hawaii to North America.

&nbsp;

Next up is Halona Blowhole.&nbsp;Molten lava tubes from&nbsp;Koko Head crater eruptions formed this&nbsp;natural occurrence. This particular&nbsp;lava tube extends into the ocean with a very narrow opening at the top. When the surf is just right, water pressure builds up within the lava tube and erupts through the narrow space creating an extraordinary Hawaiian Geyser for your viewing pleasure.

&nbsp;

Witness Waimanalo&#39;s dramatic sea cliffs as you turn onto&nbsp;Oahu&#39;s windward side at&nbsp;Makapu&#39;u Point and begin your journey to the North Shore of Oahu. Look off into the azure blue waters of the bay, and you will see Oahu&#39;s famous Manana Island, also known as Rabbit Island due to its Rabbit-like shape.

&nbsp;

Continuing along the eastern coastline, the next stop is a local shop that finds itself tucked away under aged Banyan Trees with delicious macadamia nut and Kona coffee tastings, along with very tempting Hawaiian chocolates, among&nbsp;other treats.

&nbsp;

Finally,&nbsp;Mokoli&#39;i, also known as Chinaman&#39;s Hat due to its conical shape,&nbsp;is nestled right next to the Kualoa Valley Mountain range. This location is known for its dramatic landscape, featured in several Hollywood movies, most notably the&nbsp;fan favourite Jurassic Park.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Afternoon

You&#39;ll break for lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant where you can have your pick of either a famous North Shore garlic shrimp plate or other local delicacies. Non-shellfish and vegetarian options are also available. Please bring cash for lunch, as there are no card facilities available.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

After lunch, stop at a North Shore tropical fruit stand that offers ice-cold coconuts to drink from, fresh mangos, and other tropical treats (not included).

&nbsp;

As you continue around the North Shore, you&#39;ll undoubtedly notice the&nbsp;change of pace from the crowded beaches of Waikiki.&nbsp;The infamous Sunset Beach&nbsp;offers tranquillity and is the epitome of a beautiful Hawaiian Beach. However, don&#39;t let the summer months fool you; during the winter months, swells of 30 to 40 feet can be seen from the safe confines of the shore.

&nbsp;

The second last stop for the day is&nbsp;Waimea Botanical Garden (admission not included). This&nbsp;exceptional botanical collection&nbsp;features dozens of distinct gardens representing flora from different parts of the world. Examples include the Ogasawara Islands, Central and South America, Fiji, Guam, and the Mascarene&nbsp;Islands. Stroll through the Hawaiian collection and enjoy an assortment of plants found only in Hawai&#39;i, many of which are rare and endangered. Many were brought here as seeds or cuttings from the places where they evolved.

&nbsp;

Turning back toward Honolulu, the journey takes you through the centre of the island. Make a stop at the&nbsp;historic Dole Pineapple plantation. Visit the gift shop for a range of&nbsp;pineapple magnets, pineapple t-shirts, pineapple keychains and most importantly, the cool and refreshing Dole Whip ice cream (own expense)! It&#39;s a&nbsp;great way to end the day and get some pineapple-themed souvenirs for your friends and family back home.

&nbsp;

After a day of activities and fun, you&#39;ll&nbsp;return to Honolulu between 4pm and 4:30pm, just in time to make plans for the night.&nbsp;

TOUR MINIMUMS

A combined minimum of 2 guests is required for a tour to operate. Should a tour not meet the tour minimum, customers will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. While advanced notice will be provided when possible, tour cancellations may be up until 1-hour before the activity start time.

INCLEMENT WEATHER OR COMPANY CLOSURES

Trips will run rain or shine. All trips are subject to change or be canceled without notice due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstance. The company will make the final decision and may cancel at any time should the weather conditions be deemed unsafe or unfit to complete the activity.
