Jump aboard your tour bus, &#39;Trudy&#39;, from central Sydney to begin&nbsp;your journey westbound, swapping the cityscape for some of nature&#39;s best scenery. After a quick break in Glenbrook, head up the range to Katoomba, home of the famous Three Sisters. Stop to admire this iconic image of the Blue Mountains and hear the Aboriginal Dreamtime story&nbsp;behind them.

Visit the more locally known Wentworth Falls to&nbsp;embark on a&nbsp;90-minute moderate-level hike. The nature-enclosed hike journeys down to the bottom of the 187-metre waterfall in the Jamison Valley, or as some call it, Jurassic Park. Stop at several amazing viewpoints along the way where the true beauty and size of Sydney&#39;s Blue Mountains can really be appreciated.&nbsp;This hike is not overly demanding but if you don&rsquo;t feel up to it then you can take the easy walk to the first waterfall and cliff walk then stroll back in your own time to the picnic area.

All that sightseeing, bush walking and waterfalls will have worked up an appetite, so it&#39;s time to enjoy&nbsp;a fresh picnic&nbsp;lunch in the natural surroundings. See if you can spot some kangaroos and kookaburras&nbsp;before continuing to Lincoln&#39;s Rock,&nbsp;a truly amazing rock lodge with uninterrupted views over Jamison Valley.&nbsp;

Head deeper into the valley to see if you can spot some more kangaroos and visit a secret lookout known by your local guide. On warmer days, take a&nbsp;refreshing dip in the shallow waters at the bottom of a waterfall&nbsp;for a true Aussie experience, surrounded by bush, birds, rocks, and natural sand.&nbsp;

 
Upon returning to Sydney, you may enjoy finishing with a drink together at a local bar to continue into the night with your new mates and recount your unforgettable day out.

Really beautiful

We had a lovely day with our guide, Tommy. He was knowledgeable and energetic and had a good sense of humour. the scenery was gorgeous and our hike was amazing. The lunch sandwiches were delicious, too!

Perfect day trip from Sydney

This is a must do if you have a day off in Sydney, the guides take you to many lookouts (including the famous Echo point to see the Three Sisters) and the 2-hour hiking is worth it.
